We hunt on some of Mexico's best ranches just outside of Hermosillo. Depending on your hunting-style preference, you can talk to us about spot-and-stalk hunting, high-racking, or blind hunting. We highly recommend that hunters are prepared to take long-range shots with precise shot placement, as well as quick and accurate shots.  As with all hunting, success is not guaranteed, but we work tirelessly to put our clients in the best possible position to take a mature buck.

At Sonora Outfitters, our Mexico mule deer hunts run Monday adfternoons through Saturday morning, and we do not hunt on Sundays. Weather is typically cooler in the morning and evenings, and the desert warms up very quickly in the day-time. You can expect clean, comfortable accommodations; authentic food cooked daily by our local cooks; gorgeous sunsets; and a very fun Mexico mule deer hunt.

To ensure a seamless travel for your Mexico mule deer hunt, you will need to book your flights to Hermosillo, Mexico as your final destination. Please note that Mexico has strict regulations when it comes to firearms, so hunters bringing their rifles will need to fly direct from Phoenix to Hermosillo with no connections anywhere in Mexico.  Upon your arrival in Hermosillo, our team will handle all gun permits prior to your arrival and notify Mexico customs of your necessary permits. You will then need to check your rifle at the airport and clear security. If you don't want to travel with a firearm, you also have the option to use an outfitter-provided firearm. 

A member of our team will be waiting for you at the airport on Monday the week of your arrival to assist with any questions and transport you to our hunting area for your Mexico mule deer hunt. American Airlies has arrivals daily around noon, and getting to the ranches with time to hunt that afternoon is very easy.  At Sonora Outfitters, we are committed to ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for all of our clients, so you can focus on your Mexico mule deer hunt.

We have a booking form located on the top right side of this website.  Once you have selected your desired dates, agreed to all the terms, and made the deposit payment, you are booked, and we will provide you with a detailed itinerary of your Mexico mule deer hunt.

To secure your spot, a deposit is required at the time of booking your guided Mule Deer hunt. We accept various forms of payment, please see the payment section on the booking link for options. The deposit amount will vary depending on the hunt you select.

We will provide you with additional information about your Mexico mule deer hunt, including necessary gear and clothing, travel logistics, and any required permits. If you selected to bring your own firearms, we will be in touch with details for permits in Mexico.
