SONORA OUTFITTERS

At Sonora Outfitters, an American-owned outfitter in Mexico, we take immense pride in our hunting family and the unforgettable moments we experience in the great outdoors. As passionate hunters ourselves, we understand the effort, respect, and dedication that go into a truly rewarding hunt, especially when it involves Coues Deer Hunts and Desert Bighorn Sheep Hunts.

Nestled in the heart of the Sonora Desert, our hunting grounds span remote, multi-generational working ranches that offer an authentic desert hunting experience. The rugged terrain, vast open spaces, and breathtaking landscapes of the desert and surrounding mountains create the perfect setting for these iconic hunts.

These ranches are rich in history and tradition, many continuing to operate much as they have for generations. Local ranch owners and cowboys play an important role in every hunt, bringing unmatched knowledge of the land and wildlife. Their hard work and stewardship are a major reason for the quality opportunities our hunters enjoy at Sonora Outfitters.

Safety and professionalism are paramount to us. Our experienced guides and staff are dedicated to providing a respectful, well-run, and enjoyable hunting experience from the moment you arrive. While accommodations should be clean and comfortable, many ranches remain rustic and reflective of traditional Sonoran ranch life — part of the authenticity that makes our hunts so special.

Hunting season is a time we eagerly anticipate each year, and we invite serious sportsmen to join us in escaping the cold winter months for a true desert hunting adventure. Here, hunters experience early mornings, long days in the field, and the thrill that comes from earning every opportunity.

At Sonora Outfitters, we believe in building lasting relationships through shared experiences, mutual respect, and a passion for the outdoors. The camaraderie formed in camp, the stories shared after long days of hunting, and the memories made in the Sonoran Desert are what keep many of our clients returning year after year, eager for their next Coues Deer Hunts or Desert Bighorn Sheep Hunts.

If you’re looking for a genuine Sonora hunting experience rooted in tradition, effort, and integrity, we would be honored to welcome you into the Sonora Outfitters family.
