We hunt on some of Mexico's best ranches just outside of Hermosillo. Depending on your hunting-style preference, you can talk to us about spot-and-stalk hunting, high-racking, or blind hunting. We highly recommend that hunters are prepared to take long-range shots with precise shot placement, as well as quick and accurate shots.  As with all hunting, success is not guaranteed, but we work tirelessly to put our clients in the best possible position to take a mature buck.

At Sonora Outfitters, our Mexico mule deer hunts are typically five days long, but we can customize the duration to suit your needs. The weather is typically cooler in the morning and evenings, and the desert warms up very quickly in the day-time. You can expect clean, comfortable accommodations; authentic food cooked daily by our local cooks; gorgeous sunsets; and a very fun Mexico mule deer hunt.

To ensure a seamless travel for your Mexico mule deer hunt, you will need to book your flights to Hermosillo, Mexico as your final destination. Please note that Mexico has strict regulations when it comes to firearms, so hunters bringing their rifles will need to fly direct from Phoenix to Hermosillo with no connections anywhere in Mexico.  Upon your arrival in Hermosillo, our team will handle all gun permits prior to your arrival and notify Mexico customs of your necessary permits. You will then need to check your rifle at the airport and clear security. If you don't want to travel with a firearm, you also have the option to use an outfitter-provided firearm (this must be discussed with outfitter beforehand).

A member of our team will be waiting for you at the airport to assist with any questions and transport you to our hunting area for your Mexico mule deer hunt. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may depart for camp immediately or commence first thing the following morning.
